Consultation Fees
An initial consultation fee of £195 is charged for all self-funding patients. This is payable at the time of consultation. Pre-operative consultations required prior to proceeding with surgery are included within this fee.
Follow-up and post-operative appointments are included within your treatment package and are not charged separately. There is no set limit on post-operative consultations.
Treatment and Procedure Costs
Fees quoted are intended as a guide. The final cost depends on procedure details, anaesthesia required, and the specific hospital facility. A written, no-obligation quotation is provided following consultation.
Quotations are all-inclusive and cover surgical fees, anaesthetist fees, and hospital fees including all aftercare, dressings, and post-operative review appointments. Any immediate complications such as post-operative bleeding requiring further management are covered within the package. Full terms and conditions are provided with the written quotation.
Mr Lewis does not provide or recommend finance products. Nuffield Health are able to provide information on finance packages for procedures carried out at their hospitals.
Insured Patients
Mr Lewis is recognised by all major UK private healthcare insurers including BUPA, AXA Health, Aviva, and Vitality. He is also an approved specialist for the Police Health Scheme in partnership with Nuffield Health.
Private healthcare insurance policies vary considerably. Please confirm your level of cover directly with your insurer prior to booking a consultation or proceeding with any treatment. Where a policy excess or exemption applies, responsibility for any shortfall rests with the patient.
Overseas Patients
Mr Lewis is able to see overseas patients for face-to-face consultations and minor procedures. He does not routinely offer major surgical procedures for overseas patients.
